(ARKADELPHIA, ARKANSAS) You thought you could find anything on e-Bay.  Until a few days ago you were even able to buy a new born baby.

Spring Gordon (22) was arrested on Tuesday, when police stormed her southern Arkansas home in Arkadelphia, an hour drive south of the state capital, after it was reported that she put her child, William Jacob, up for auction on eBuy.com.

Gordon claims she couldn’t make ends meet after her boyfriend left her a month before the baby was due.  Instead of giving up the baby to adoption, she thought she could make a fast buck and use the hottest internet phenomenon to market off her newborn child.

People online that saw the ad immediately notified the authorities.  There were as many as 3,000 complaints to the webmaster about the horrific bid.   A few days after the ad was online, Gordon was behind bars.  Her trial is set for a week after her arrest.  The child has been put in a foster care, after the father was unable to be located.
